    Continuous flow rapid solid-phase peptide synthesis based on LabVIEW

    • In order to achieve automation and high efficiency in peptide solid-phase synthesis, a continuous-flow rapid solid-phase peptide synthesis system was developed. This system was developed by combining the programming capability of LabVIEW and the flow synthesis technology. In addition, the optimization strategy of single factor in continuous-flow mode was explored. The results demonstrated that, in comparison with the conventional solid-phase synthesis approach, the system shortened the reaction time by nearly 80% and decreased the reagents consumption by 60%, thereby exhibiting high synthetic efficiency and economic advantages. The crude peptide purity was found to be 90.20% for Argireline. The findings of this study demonstrated the capacity of the system to synthesize high-purity peptides in a brief period, thereby providing dependable technical support for the development and commercialization of peptide drugs.
