Abstract:
The solubility of α-ketoglutarate(α-KG) in water, ethyl acetate (EA), n-butyl acetate (nBA) and pyruvate (PYR) under normal pressure was determined by a static method.Effects of PYR on the solubility of α-KG in water, EA and nBA was studied.The results show that the solubility of α-KG in water-PYR, EA-PYR and nBA-PYR is positively correlated with temperature.In water-PYR mixture solvents, the solubility of α-KG decreases with the increase of the molar ratio of pyruvate (
y1).In the EA-PYR and nBA-PYR mixed solvents, the solubility decreases first and then increases with the increase of the molar ratio of PYR, and the minimum values are near
y2=0.60 and
y3=0.47, respectively.Apelblat model, Yaws model and (CNIBS)/Redlich-Kister equation correlate well with the solubility data of α-KG in the three mixed solvents.The Thermodynamic parameters (Δ
