    石质文物保护用硅丙乳液的制备及胶膜性能

    Preparation and latex film properties of silicon-modified polyacrylate emulsion for stone cultural heritage protection

    • 摘要: 石质文物具有很重要的历史价值,但易受自然侵蚀,亟需保护。硅丙乳液具有良好的耐候性、透明性、疏水性和力学性能,可作为水性涂料,应用于文物保护方面。文中采用半连续无皂种子乳液聚合制备了有机硅改性的聚丙烯酸酯乳液,研究了反应型乳化剂、有机硅单体、软硬丙烯酸酯单体和固含量对乳液和乳胶膜综合性能的影响。通过实验和性能表征,确定了反应型乳化剂用量为3.75%,有机硅单体用量为2.50%,丙烯酸丁酯与甲基丙烯酸甲酯的质量比为4∶4时为最佳反应条件,制备的乳液性能稳定,能够长期储存,乳胶膜具有很好的耐候性、透明性、耐水性、耐酸碱性和力学性能,可用于石质文物保护。

       

      Abstract: Stone cultural heritages hold significant historical value, but they are subject to natural erosion, making their protection urgently. Silicone-acrylic emulsion, with its excellent weather resistance, transparency, hydrophobicity, and mechanical properties, can serve as a water-based coating for the protection of cultural relics. This study used semi-continuous soap-free seed emulsion polymerization to prepare an organic-silicon modified polyacrylate emulsion. The effects of reactive emulsifier, organic silicone, soft and hard acrylate monomers, and solid content on the comprehensive properties of the emulsion and latex film were investigated. The optimal reaction conditions were determined as follows: the dosage of reactive emulsifier was 3.75%, the dosage of organic silicone monomer was 2.50%, the mass ratio of butyl acrylate to methyl methacrylate was 4∶4. The prepared emulsion exhibited stable performance and could be stored for an extended period. The latex film demonstrated excellent weather resistance, transparency, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and mechanical properties, which could be effectively applied to the conservation of stone cultural relics.
